“I’m sure they thought I had come out of the ark” … Sister Anthony meets Coldplay:

Sister Anthony, the nun pictured above on the right, has done a brief interview about her experience being in the music video for Coldplay’s Paradise. Oddly enough, she claims that everyone on the tube paid little attention to Chris in his elephant suit and the camera crew filming this bit of the video. There was a moment during her ride home in which Chris took off his elephant head and made eye contact with her, then proceeded to ask if she recognized him. She had never heard of Coldplay until he told her he was from the band. A few days later when she was walking through the playground at her school, the children, who had seen her in the music video, ecstatically approached her and said “You met Coldplay! The band! Do you know how important they are?” Not knowing “anything about YouTube,” she didn’t see her cameo until the schoolchildren had the school secretary show her the music video. After seeing the video she said, “Ah what a lovely song!” (x)
